Emerges later than acne is usually when patients are between the ages of 30 and 50. Rosacea is most common in fair-skinned people of northern Europe, mainly Celtic ancestry is not common among people with darker skin. Women are reportedly three times more likely to be affected than men. Clinically, rosacea is a facial rash consisting of papules, pustules, and telangiectasia. The lesions are usually seen in the central third of the face, forehead, nose, cheeks and chin (the call to flush or blush areas).
Rosacea does not have the comedones ("black spots" or "white") observed in patients with acne vulgaris. In general, a scar or presented with nodules or cysts, unless the patient has concomitant acne. lesions of rosacea tend to be bilaterally symmetrical, but may also occur on only one side of the patient's face.
Patients should be advised to avoid the sun or apply sunscreen before sun exposure. You may also want to avoid the environmental triggers discussed above
